Plomb files are seldom seen, and like most 50 year old files, are usually pretty well worn.  Here are a few files that have turned up.
 
The number indicates the length of the cutting surface in inches, not the overall length of the file.
 
 
 
 
 

HRB 10 is a Half Round Bastard with a 10" cutting surface.

 

 

 

 

 

A visitor named Hal found two Flat Bastard files. 

 

One is an FB 8 and the other is FB12
