Plomb Proto Wrenches
For a very short time, Plomb stamped their tools with "Proto" and "Plomb Tool Co."
Due to the lawsuit with Plumb, Plomb introduced a new name: "Proto". Proto is the combination of the words "Professional" and "Tools".
Plomb continued to stamp their name onto the tools, causing additional legal troubles for the company. The tools that were not sold before 1948 had the names ground off by court order.
